We prevent numerous diseases by providing vitamins to malnourished children and expecting mothers.
Many children in the world are no longer at risk of starvation, but they are still malnourished. In Guatemala, for example, up to 70% of children and mothers suffer from vitamin deficiencies that can lead to birth defects as well as other serious health problems like scurvy, rickets, beriberi, pellagra, physical deformities, respiratory problems, cognitive disorders and stunted growth.
These are Preventable Problems!
